It was hard to say if the past few weeks had gone by too fast or if they had slowed to a crawl because at all felt like it had either sped up or slowed down depending on the day. When they originally decided to wait until tonight to say anything she didn't realize how much she would worry about Jesse not having anyone around to give her a hand if she was sick while Lex was on shift. Obviously she knew that if it got bad that everyone was simply a call away anyway and that she was probably worried for nothing but it wasn't going to ease up until they told the others.
She was thankful at least that today seemed to be an easier one and that it was going to allow Jesse some time to hangout at the festival with Kae while Lex herself was stuck working it (rather then getting to enjoy it with her). She still had a little time before she had to leave for work so she had gone out to refill some food and snack options, there was some running around trying to track down one particular thing but she had managed to find it and then finally some soup before heading back.
With having to head to work later there wasn't much point in putting her bike back in the garage so she parked it out front by the doors and opened up the small little hatch on the back to pick up the sealed container of hot soup and the bag of snacks and candies. She stopped short of walking inside so she could fish out a ring pop from it and slipped it inside one of the zipper pockets of her leather jacket and then let herself inside.
Once her shoes where off she walked to the kitchen where she ran into Kyle who was rummaging through the fridge.
"Don't be getting any ideas about that left over chicken."
